Our trip program is fits in our philosophy perfectly. How better to encourage our campers' adventurous spirits than by sendin them on camping trips throughout the San Juan Islands? We're looking for that special someone to manage this program this summer!

As the Trip Director, you'll supervise and train a staff of 6 sailing, canoeing, sea kayking, and backpacking trip leaders. You'll Mentor and help train other staff (counselors) who go on trips as well. You'll be a logistical wizard in order to manage gear, schedules, time off, and special camp events. Safety is absolutely critical for the trip program. The ability to think ahead, manage risk, and work calmly under pressure is paramount for this person. Of course, you should also enjoy working with kids of all ages!.

To apply for this position, you must be at least 21 years old, and have experience in wilderness tripping, preferably in a supervisory role.  First Aid and CPR certifications are also required. Preference will be given to candidates with Lifeguarding and/or Wilderness First Aid Certfications (WFA, WFR, or WEMT).
