Are you at home in a Kayak? Great with kids? Let's talk...

As our Kayak Leader, you'll teach kayaking skills in classes while at the dock, and lead kids on multi-day trips throughout the San Juan Islands. You'll plan and lead 1 to 6 day kayak trips in tandem sea kayaks, assuring the safety of kids ages 9-16. On the water and at campsites, you'll teach outdoor skills, environmental care and self-sufficiency.

To be our Kayak Leader, kayak skills, current CPR, Lifeguarding, and Wilderness First Aid (such as WFA, WFR, or WEMT - we can help get you certified!) are required, and you must be at least 21 years old.
