We're proud of the overnight trips we take, and during the summer months, taking a trip our of camp is one of the highlights for our campers. We're looking for a good backapacking trip leader to help make this program a success.

As the backpacking trip leader, you'll plan and lead 1 to 6 day backpacking trips here on Orcas Island and in Olympic National Park. You'll teach outdoor skills and environmental care and encourage campers to develop self-sufficiency. Safety is a top priority.

CPR, Lifeguard training, Wilderness First Aid (such as WFA, WFR, or WEMT - we can help get you certified!), documented skill and experience leading similar trips are all required. Our Backpacking Trip Leader must be at least 21 years old.
