These are items that will help our programs at camp. Multiple items are needed in some cases. We are grateful for full or partial funding of any of these items.

Financial Aid
Four Winds commits to reserving 20% of its camper spots for families that need Financial Aid. Donations of any size are welcome to support this important program.

Earth Tub, an industrial composter for waste reduction – $7000 of $9975 has been donated – Thank you!
The Earth Tub is designed specifically for on-site composting of food-wastes. The Earth Tub is a fully enclosed composting vessel featuring power mixing, compost aeration, and biofiltration of all process air. This self-contained unit is ideal for breaking down Camp’s food waste into usable compost for the garden.

All the Park fees for the 2012 Senior Trips – $210 of $4000 has been donated – Thank you!
Every summer senior campers venture out to destinations far and near. Most of these trips require park fees of some kind.
I would like to give $ to help pay park fees for the six day trips.
Park fees for each senior trip cost $200. We need 12, plus an additional $1600 for junior and intermediate trips.

Additional beds for the garden – Donated – Thank you!
Wooden raised beds in the garden lengthen the growing season by keeping the soil temperature warmer.

New Bloomer and Middie uniforms – $1220 of $2750 has been donated – Thank you!
I would like to give $ to help buy new bloomers and middies.
Each uniform set costs $55. We need 50 sets.

Stihl 441 MS chainsaw
I would like to give $ to help buy the Stihl chainsaw.

New sleeping bags
I would like to give $ to help buy new sleeping bags.

Troxel Sport Helmets – $200 of $480 has been donated – Thank you!
These helmets are for our riding program.
I would like to give $ to help buy new helmets.The helmets cost $30 on average (depending on size). We need 16.

I would like to give $ to help buy new archery bows.
We need 12 new bows, which cost $30 each (on average).

One 72-pack of new arrows
I would like to give $ to help buy a pack of 72 arrows.

Headphones and Mic stands for recording studio – $10 of $300 has been donated – Thank you!
Each summer, campers head to the studio to record new and familiar songs.

We need seven new international flags at $32 each.

We have two wooden Caledonia Sloops, built for us by the Northwest School of Wooden Boat building, and primarily used in our trip program. They could use some new fenders.

Nets for Gunkholing – Donated – Thank you!
Gunkholing is a kind of nautical meandering, dipping in and out of coves and inlets. The waters around FW*WH are an ideal place to do it.

30x60 zoom binoculars
These are used frequently on Carlyn trips.
