Spending a summer at Four Winds Westward Ho is a great way to have fun, learn valuable skills, and earn some money, too. We're always interested in hiring fun, enthusiastic people to work with us each summer.
Depending on your background, experiences, and goals, you may choose to become a Counselor, who lives in a cabin or tent with 4-6 kids, or a Specialist, who performs one of our other important staff positions, such as leading trips, work in our kitchen, and assist in managing the camp.
Our ideal staff member is a person who works well with children, is a positive role model, has skills in our program areas and has a good sense of humor. To work effectively in the camp environment, one must be mature, self-reliant, have good judgment and a strong sense of safety, possess first aid and CPR certification, work well in a community living situation and have an abundance of energy.
