2008 Sessions & Enrollment

Summer 2008 Sessions

First Session 2008
June 24-July 21

Second Session 2008
July 24-August 20

Junior Session 2008
August 23-29

Please note that our dates remain the same from year to year.

During our month-long sessions, campers experience a full program of activities, trips and living group experiences.  Campers who are in or about to enter high school take a 6-day canoeing, sailing, canoeing or backpacking trip out of camp. The recommended ages for the 4-week session are 9 through 16, entering grade 4 through grade 10. Tuition for the four-week sessions is $3900.

Oldest campers, aged 16 and 17 (usually entering grades 11 and 12) can apply for a spot in the Counselor Training Program.  We welcome people new to camp as well as former campers to this program.  For one session, participants learn about the camp structure and operations, First Aid and CPR, counseling skills, and how to teach in the activity areas.   Participants may also supervise cabin groups for 24 hour periods.  The main goal of the program is to aid young people in the transition to what we expect from staff, namely, that they place their focus on the campers' experience. An additional application form and references are due by February 28th.  Please call us for more information at (360) 376-2277. Tuition for the Counselor in Training program is one-half of our regular tuition. Please see our page on the Leadership Training Program for more information.

Junior Session is for young campers who have little camp experience.  For one week, August 23-29, the children learn to enjoy the experience of living with others.  We go riding and sailing, make crafts and have special activities.  Evenings end with songs and stories. The recommended ages for junior session are 7 through 10, entering grade 2 through grade 5.  Because this is an introduction to camping and space is very limited, we allow campers to participate for just two years. Tuition for Junior session is $900.

Space for returning campers is reserved until November 30th. Age groups may fill at different rates, however we strongly recommend you apply to camp as early as possible to assure we have space available for your child.
